Does anyone know how to set Internet explorer settings on
a mac for any user that logs on to the server. I'm
finding the MAC OS more and more infuriating, i can do it
easily on a windows server using gpo's. why not on an
apple mac server??? i would have used safari, but its
too limited in the restircitions that you can set, and
the fact it doesnt connect to ISA server is a complete
ar5e!!! any help much appreciated. mac osx 10.3.

All IE prefs are stored in each user's home folder, and as far as I know
there's no way to globally set the prefs for that app. What you might have
to do is write an Apple Script that copies a set of default prefs into the
user's folder when he/she logs in. (this is a solution I came up with when I
was trying to get MacOS 8 and Novel to play nice with Netscape's prefs).

You might want to check out macosxlags.org since this may be something
that can be set globally. There is a lot of documentation and resources
available at this site. Another good resource is macosxhints.com.
