Hi - I read here that upping IE's memory to 40 mgs would
stop the constant error 2 messages and freezing problem.
Did that, but it's still crashing, sometimes on startup and
sometimes mid-operation, and freezing. It's crashed four
times in the last few hours. I have run Disk Doctor.

Are there known extension conflicts? Or is there a patch or
fix?

Thanks - using Netscape right now and hating it.. :)

I'd trash the IE history and maybe any prefs files at this point.

I have been, up until now a Windows / PC only user.  I just bought a new g4
Powerbook.  I am using IE and have not had any problems for the last several
weeks.  Which leads me to believe that it is not an IE problem. Maybe it is
a conflict with certain hardware or even software that you have previously
installed.  Something to check on...

It could also be a corrupt font. Try removing all fonts from your system
except for the OS standard set (Geneva, Helvetica, Times, etc), and try
again.
