I need to uninstall IE so I can install a clean version. Deleting the icon is not helping me. How do I do this? I too need to completely uninstall IE (version 5.2.3 specifically). MS's uninstall directions state to simply delete the program icon, but that, in my experience, is hogwash. I need to be able to completely remove *all* traces of Internet Explorer. Anybody have suggestions?
