I remember having to up the memory allotment to at least 40MB in order to get any decent performance from IE (always crashing with Error Type 2). I know 40MB seems like an insane amount to allocate to only one program, but then again, Web browsers aren't simply little programs anymore either; considering that they kick off Java VMs, run applets, play embedded movies, etc. |
