Internet Explorer Settings Reset Itself

Hello,

I've been unable to find an answer to this in the knowledge base.  So, I
thought that somebody here might be able to help me.

I am running OS X 10.2.7 and Internet Explorer 5.2.  It's a brand new
computer that I just set-up a week or so ago.

The problem is that the IExplorer preferences keep resetting itself.  For
example, the auto-fill or the frequency of cache updating won't save.
If I make some changes to the preferences, they will stay for a few
operations.  But then, they reset to the defaults.

This is particularly frustrating b/c I am unable to use some
important internet applications.

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.  Please let me
know if you have any questions or need additional information.

Best,
Rob

Thank you!  That definitely fixed it.

However, I'm still having a problem that I think is related.  When using
internet explorer to login into subscription sites (such as yahoo mail or
the new york times), it won't remember me and it kicks me out after a
few operations.

Any ideas?

thanks,
rob
