I need to access a website that is changing tomorrow to support only
IE 5.5 and above. Seeing as the latest mac version is 5.2.3 is there
anything I can do about being able to view the site apart from virtual
pc etc?

You can try using another browser that will let you change the User Agent
string to make it look like IE 5.5, such as Mozilla, FireFox, Camino, etc.
The Safari betas used to let you do that - not sure if that functionality is
still there. Might want to also check out OmniWeb.

You can do that using the Debug menu, which can be enabled using Safari
Enhancer.

That won't work, however, if the site uses some component that will really
only work with the true IE 5.5 or later (like ActiveX).
