I am working on iBook and I would like to know why my explorer shut
down all the time and does not find severs for nearly 70% ?? I'm
really bored about this.... somebody told me it has something to do
with DNS - Server, can somebody explain this to me, please?? Maybe I
should buy another computer ..... Please try to give me an answer in a
little "easier" english because mine is not so perfect O:(

Basically if your iBook can't find a website from IE this is due to a
problem with DNS or Domain Name Service and is basically an database for
addresses on the internet. What usually happens when you type in
www.google.com IE goes away to your ISP's DNS server which then goes to find
what the IP address of that server is.
To stop getting these really annoying errors, the easiest thing to do would
be to enter another ISP's DNS IP address information into the Network
Settings part of the System Preferences. As I live in the UK, I use a
company called Demon Internet's DNS IP's as I've found these the most
reliable (for the UK anyway!). Demon Internet's DNS's are:
Primary DNS server
158.152.1.58
Secondary DNS server
158.152.1.43
The URL below describes how to change Mac OS X's DNS lookup.

Hope this helps!
