Help! I lost my favorites!

Hi
I"m not sure what I did, but I have a Mac G4/ 400 and 9.2.2 and I was
having a crashing problem so I reinstalled my system software (but
didn't think I touched Int Exp), but then also I did the 'updater'
thing (but didn't notice that it did Int Exp)

anyway, now ALL of my favorites are gone? I checked in my system
folder/preferences and didn't see the old ones...

can anyone help?

If you did the "Archive & Install" option that saves the "Previous System
Folder", then you should be able to import your favorites. In Internet
Explorer, go to Window -> Favorites, then File -> Import Favorites.
Navigate to:
HD:Previous System Folder:Preferences:Explorer:Favorites.html

That should bring them in. If you chose an install option that deleted the
previous system folder, then the information is gone unless you did a
backup.

thank you for your advice but couldn't find the old folder, I don't
know what happened as I don't remember having a choice but the file
appears to be gone :(
