Something is wrong with my Java

Since I'm using Explorer 5.2 on my Power Book G4, I get sometimes
error messages from Java.  I haved enabled Java, but for some web
pages I keep getting messages as the one below, and some images do not
show.  What can I do?

What follows is a sample of error message I get (of course, I don't
understand what it means):

Not so much difficult as uncommon.  Perhaps few people have seen that error,
especially since most OS X users are not using Explorer but Safari.
