When I try to download Internet Explorer 6 the "Download Manager" pops
up on my iBook which I assume is a "third party" download manager
which intercepts the download so the options don't come up for the
actual large file download. Only the small "setup" file downloads
which appears to be useless. I think I need to disable the "Download
Manager" but have no idea how to. Pleas help........ Thanks!

Internet Explorer 6 is only for Windows.  Internet Explorer 5 is the latest
version for Mac.  You can find download links here:
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx#IE>

Unfortunately development has been discontinued so there probably will not
be an Internet Explorer 6 for Mac.
