I have recently set my cookie prefs to "never ask".  After relaunching
Explorer a time or two it is resetting itself back to "ask every
time". How do I get the pref to remain permanently?

Thanks,

Mark

Make sure you are using the latest Internet Explorer and OS X releases.

Try these suggestions that have been circulating the group:

Many users have reported success with this method:  Quit out of all
applications (Entourage especially), open Internet Explorer, change your
preferences, then quit out of Internet Explorer.  Your preferences should
then save correctly.

Try repairing permissions.
For OS 10.2.x:
Go to Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities.  Open up Disk Utility.  Select
your hard disk, then click the First Aid tab.   Click the button to "Repair
Disk Permissions".

For OS 10.1.5:
Download the Repair Privileges utility, free from Apple, and run it:
