I have reported many phishing site to IE7 (and 8). The blocks take many hours
to appear if at all (although they are fairly instant with other browsers
like firefox and opera), and I know that the sites I report have been
reported by Microsofts anti phishing partners.

So why is phishing blocking so random with IE7 and 8? It only seems to
blocking phishing sites aimed at major banks.

I've given up submitting phishing sites to Microsoft as a result, but
continue to send them to other browser companies who do something with them
very quickly

You're in the wrong newsgroup.

This is the group for the Mac version of IE. You should repost in one of
the regular IE groups.
