I have IE 7 on a new laptop and when I try to download from an internet site
I get a message indicating that an internal error happened, more
specifically, could not be saved because the source file could not be read.
The download starts and then stops with this message. It also says contact
the server administrator. I tried to download IE 8 Beta to overcome this and
the MSN website starts the download and then the same tired message. I loaded
up Firefox which downloaded for some reason and when I tried to download all
the other things each stated the same except Firefox stated,
C:/users/steven/appdata/local/temp/cqzyevfv.exe.part
I don't know what this means but it has something to do with the failure.
I have WIN Vista (I know), Home Premium installed from the Sony factory and
have a Pentium(R) Dual 1.87 GHZ CPU with 2 GB of Ram. Please help me resolve
this file could not be read problem so I can download things from the net.
For some reason Firefox downloaded but at first had the same error. WIN
updates, norton updates, and other MSN updates download and install, no
problem. Just when I go to the websites of other people like MSN, it won't
go. Thank you. Steven
