Processor: Power PC

Hi there,

I think the title of the question says it all really... I have an old version of Internet Explorer (5), on my Mac OSX Panther, and need to upgrade it to 6 or higher. Is this possible?

Any feedback gratefully received.

Maybe that's because it never went beyond 5.2.3.

Thanks for the succinct response. That's answered it.

Are there any plans to?

God, I'd hope not.

Once Apple developed Safari, M$ figured "screw it" for developing
browsers for the Mac market. IE sucked on the Mac anyway, although it
didn't suck nearly as much as Windows Media Player for Mac.

At least, IE for Mac was a real Mac app. It has some cool feature
(scrapbook, etc) and was the only app to bring some ActiveX supprot on
MacOS X.
WMP for Mac was a quick and dirty (and buggy) port to provide
preliminary support for Windows Media content on MacOS X. An awful app
well replaced by the Flip4Mac WMV ocdecs.
