I am new to Mac and am trying to play a video that plays always on my window based IE system. The error is "you are missing application/x-mplayer2 which will be available at" (microsoft.com). I'm not sure it refers to the same app, but you can find MPlayer for Mac here: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html Do you know what kind of media the page had?? Was it DivX?? (in which case you could simply install the DivX codecs and plug-in - free). What Mac WHat version of MacOS X How much RAM, How many software open at the same time How much hard drive space left What makes you say it's your computer's fault (it could be your ISP) etc..... (and just so you know, the group is about IE for Mac... If you are still using IE, you might want to switch to a different brwoser since IE for Mac has officially been abandoneed a few years ago now...)
