When I manually type in URL adress on the top and hit enter, nothing happens.
After a few seconds, it resports that IE is not responding. Other functions
seem to work. If I choose a site from my "Favorite", it works.
When I use Mozilla brower, everything works. How to fix the problem?
Thanks.

Did you consider moving the preferneces to the desktop and relaunching
the applciation to see if it was related?? It could be a corrupted pref
file.

Sorry, but what do you mean by moving preferences to the desktop?

Well you go to ~/Library/Preferences/ (~/ represents your user folder),
you find the prefernce file for Explorer there and you move it to the
desktop of your Mac.
