internet explorer = dump file

Everytime I am working online, I will get an error message asking if I want
to save a dump file. I don't even know what a dump file does or if it is any
benefit to me to save them. I just want to find a way to eliminate my
computer from wanting to create a dump file. It happens every single time I
go to a website, and try to close the tab. HELP! This is so aggrivating!

What version of MacOS X are you using??
