I am running IE 7 on Windows XP Home. About a week ago, my internet explorer got into a state where I can only open ucsf.edu webpages. I cannot open any other sites (google, yahoo, etc), but I can open any ucsf site! Outlook and Skype are connecting and working fine. I have tried resetting the IE settings and restoring my computer to an earlier point, but nothing helps. This may have happened after an automatic update was installed, but I'm not sure. > I am running IE 7 on Windows XP Home. This is the group for the Mac version of IE (hence the .mac. in the name). You should repost in one of the regular IE groups. Otherwise there are sometimes tricks to force-open some of the IE-only pages (like asking your brwoser to pretend to be IE to go past the stupid browser checking some sites perform). What site are you trying to access??
