IE-7 Favorites

Adding a page to Favorites causes the entire Favorite tree to open up into a
big, hard to navigate, mess. I have my favorites organized several levels
deep and have gone back to IE 6 for that reason but miss the tabs.
Is there still no way to collapse the tree in IE7 when adding pages so that
it presents itself the same way that it does when accessing pages???

Is there any 3rd party plug-in that would provide a better Favorite
management?

Hum... You're in the newsgroup for the Mac version of IE. You might want
to consider reposting to one of the regular IE groups,

OOPS, sorry about that. But while I'm here, is it any different in Mac?
...Just might be another item to put on my list for giving Mac a try soon.

For IE, quite a bit. We're stuck with an outdated version 5 that has
been abandonned by MS.
It doesn't really impact me much though: we have a zillion other Web
browsers we can use (my favorite is OmniWeb:
<http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omniweb/>

The only thing we can't use at this point is ActiveX. That's an IE-only
technology (only natively supported by IE on Windows as well actually -
FireFox needs some serious hacking to get to do anything with it).

The good thing is that very few sites rely on ActiveX anymore. The main
ones are Windows Updates and the like ;-)
It sure doens't prevent me from getting my load of work done :-D

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
I've got a lot of reading to do but can't wait to take the plunge into Mac.
