No problem, don;t worry about it. Its just that the chances someone here
will ahve an answer for you is slim...
FYI, the name of the newsgroup recapitulates the topics covered.
In this specific case, microsoft.public.mac.explorer means that the
group is about Explorer for Mac.

The latest version of IE is 5.2.3, and it has been discontinued. A web
search will find various unofficial downloads.

Why do you want it?

There is no IE 7 for Mac. The last version of IE for Mac was 5.2.1. The
product is now discontinued.

The only way woudl be to use Virtual PC on a PPC mac or a virtualization
software like Parallels on an Intel Mac to install Windows and run it
from there. Not trivial,

Yeah, Windows is WIndows, on a regular computer or through a virtual
envoronment,

Some of these platforms actually offer to make your Mac files available
directly in the Windows side. This is convenient, but puts the data on
your Mac at risk just the same way as if they had been installed on a
PC.

Make sure you get all the protection you can get for the Windows
"space".
