When I try to open a pdf file, Internet Explorer sends an error report and
then shuts down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe reader, checked
that the add on is enabled, checked the preferences all okay, tried to save
to target but will not work. Have checked association but still no go. Can
anyone help

The Adobe reader plug-in is simply not compatible with antyhing else
than Safari and OmniWeb on MacOS X.
I'm surprised you even get any sort of warning. Are you really talking
about the Mac versionof IE?

Sorry I have posted in the wrong section. I have fixed the problem now
anyway. Thanks
