IE7 Install fails

After the download process a message comes back that IE7 install failed and
to restart. When I check the log all it gives is a 0x05 error. Microsoft
doesn't seem to want to reply to this. Is there any benefit to IE7?

This group is the group for IE for Mac actually. It looks like a lot of
people make the same mistake these days so I'm starting to wonder
whether the MS site has a bad link somewhere.

Could you please let me know what link lead you to this newsgroup??
Thanks,

Corentin

Thanks for the information. It looks like the MS site misdirets people
here but so far I failed to find a repro step. Any change you'd remember
the steps that took you here (links, queries in their search engine...).

Thanks again,
