I've used Windows, Linux and various flavors of MacOS and I clearly made
my choice. I chose MacOS because it suits me. If other OS suit other
people better, it's fine with me. It's an individual choice.

Nope, I checked the headers of the messages. They all display the usual
"X-Newsreader: Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000" indicating that they have
been sent through the newsgroup mirror on the MS web-site.
I really think there is a bad link/redirector somewhere.

Not mandatory. Web site redirection - correct but I'm sure they are
getting there through some search engine. They Google "Internet Explorer
7" and get redirected here. IMHO, insulting people is not right. I'm
also big fun of OSX but I HAVE TO use PC at work so what about my fault
asking PC question related to my job?

I use a PC at work too...with XP no less. But, at the end of the day, I
feel dirty.

Yeah, it feels like you'd have to drive a pickup truck at work while
dreaming of your Austin Martin waiting at home garage, I know it. And
I'm really envious of those working for companies that let employees
organize their environment and choose all the gadgets themselves. At the
end, it doesn't really make a lot of sense to standardize, except there
is a massive procurement deal and significant discounts. It's all so
compatible today..
I agree that it takes a bit of passion to go pay more for a Mac, and
that all feels really exclusive since Jonathan Ive has put his hand of
the Apple design. But the real luxury is not only being part of an
exclusive club. If you feel better, faster, smarter, then most probably
you have that warm feeling towards the rest of the world and in the best
case even responsible to help and guide the others. Question is, guide
which way? A stick, push, aggression? No way, it's a human nature to
resist. Gotta choose another one..

True, Google could have redirected to the MS web-portal for this
newsgroup (but "Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000" is indeed a *signature*
of messages posted through the MS portal).
So far, no one ever mentioned Google or any other search engine whe I
asked them how they found this group by mistake so I really suspect a
problem on the MS portal redirection,
