Buy a Mac. Then you'll have a valid reason for posting in Macintosh
newsgroups.

Re-downlaod the IE installer, then you should try to use Add/Remove
programs to properly uninstall all traces of IE, then reinstall it from
scratch,
(also, make sure Windows itself is fully up to date).
