It takes for ever to open my local webserver as a home page. IE6, FireFox and
Opera open it in less than a second.
Opening a new tab makes the whole computer hang for half a minute. Anyone
else experiencing problems? What's the solution? Stick with IE6? Use FireFox?
Opera?

Since you're posting in a Macintosh newsgroup, buy a Mac.

Luckily not because people in this Mac newsgroup are not using Explorer
anymore. It's a nostalgy place for Mac users that used to browse with IE
in the past.
Go buy Mac - it's much better balanced and optimized, it doesn't hang.
