cant uninstall ie7

I posted this last week, but I forgot to ask does having a backup cd bring
any solution to the problem? because I made one about 2 months ago with NERO.

receantly got ie7 as an update and right before it finish installing i got
message sying it couldnt finish the instalation and left a link to
trobleshoot the problem but nothing worked. the thing is that it looks it did
install but nothing works and when i try to download again the link doesnt
open., and when i try to uninstall it wont because it says that there are
some files missing.  help!

Gee, I don't know. Ever thought of posting PC questions to a PC-related
group?

I would try to uninstall it, check the PC for directory problems and
install it all over again,

As Randall implies, you'd probably get a better answer in the Win:IE
group....

I had an installation problem; went to System Restore & IE7 disappeared on
reboot.
