Hey everyone!!:

I'm not entirely sure if I'm posting in the wrong discussion thread or not,
but I'm going to hope that this is the right one that'll fit my current
problem.  To make a long story short, I'm unable to download programs and
files.  I can't right-click and save files (ex: videos, songs) nor can I
download programs (ex: updates for programs, new programs that aren't on my
pc (already).  A Microsoft Windows Support Professional had told me that the
reason why I'm having a problem with this is because it has to do with an
error, of some sort, with my pc's system.  Can anyone help me because I don't
know what else to do and I really miss being able to update certain programs,
when there's a a vital update available for download, as well as downloading
certain files for my viewing pleasure.

PS: I have Windows XP Professional Edition with Service Pack 2 (legally)
installed.

Well yes: you are posting in the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup is for
the Mac version of IE.
You'll probably get better replies posting in the corresponding
newsgroup for the regular- windows version.
