I need to download a version of internet explorer to access a work
website.  Which version will work?

Consistent with the product support lifecycle for Microsoft products,
Internet Explorer for Mac is no longer available on the Microsoft website.
You can still get a copy here:
<http://snipurl.com/tjaa>

Note that Internet Explorer for Mac does not support all features that may
be necessary to access sites designed for Internet Explorer for Windows.
Other options to access sites that are Internet Explorer only are to have
your browser identify itself as Internet Explorer (available in Opera &
Safari), or to use Internet Explorer for Windows on a Windows machine.

THANK YOU!!!!  I just started a new job in May and as the single mom of
a disabled child, being able to work from home is a necessity some
days!   You just made that possible! Thanks a million!

How does one go about identifying a Safari browser as Internet Explorer?

Get Safari Enhancer <http://www.celestialfrontiers.com/safari_enhancer.php>.
You can then choose what browser Safari should identify itself as to
websites.
