Hi All,

We have systems in several locations that use internet connection sharing to
get to the internet.  Some client PCs cannot access specific web pages.  This
issue came up after installing Symantec Client Security 3.1.  This issue did
not exist prior to instlling SCS 3.1.  I have uninstalled SCS 3.1 and used a
tool by Symnatec to clean out any leftovers.  However, these sites are still
not viewable.
This issue only happends on ICS with dial-up.  The ICS server PC alway can
get to the sites

One of the 2 pages is HTTPS://.  The other page is HTTP://
The page tries to load, but doesn't.  After several minutes, there is a
'page cannot be displayed' message.  Seems like TTL is way too long.  I have
tried to uninstall and reinstall IE 6.x, but this has not helped.

This is what I have tried:

-Clear internet cache
-Unistall EI 6.x and reinstall
-Unistall SCS 3.1 and NAV (currently uninstalled on all problem PC)
-Used cleaning tool to clear registry and leftoever files
-Checked our web page load speed on our web server (8ms)
-checked for internet and intranet denied or allowed web sites in Internet
Options
-Allowed the problem web pages in Internet Option security tab

I'm out of ideas.  any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

You're in the wrong room with your question . I suggest you go to a
Windows room and ask the same question .
