Since installing IE7b2 I can no longer access any computers on our my windows
network when connected by ethernet. I can still browse the web and I can see
the other PCs on the LAN but can't connect to them. However, if I connect to
the LAN via wireless I can connect to and browse other shares on the LAN.

When I installed IE7 Iwas prompted to do a Windows update (I don't have it
on automatic).

The affected PC is an Acer 1691WLMi notebook with a Broadcom NetXtreme
netwrok i/f running XP SP2 fully up to date (as of a few days ago!)

Any ideas?

1. It's beta software.

2. This is a Macintosh newsgroup.

Sorry about that.

I'm new to this forum. I signed up, did a search on IE7 then hit new post.
The new message post window has nothing to indicate I was posting in a Mac
group. To be honest it never occured to me that there would be a Mac group
here!

Your reply indicated that you think there is something wrong with asking
questions about beta software. That's the whole point of beta software!
