Just a thought, but most mac user I know cannot stand IE and many do
not care much for Safari either. In fact, just about everyone of them
use Firefox almost exclusively. Just go to <a
href="http://www.getfirefox.com/">www.getfirefox.com</a> and download.

You might be able to get at it from that CD using "Pacifist". However, it
might or might not be the last version released (5.2.3).

ActiveX didn't work fully in Internet Explorer or any other Mac browser;
Java works fairly well in Safari, and any limitations I run into are because
I'm running it on a Mac. You might be able to access some Internet
Explorer-only websites and features by using a tool that "masks" the browser
so that sites believe it is Internet Explorer.
