Using MAC IE to access Outlook Web Access for our Exchange 2003 system I
have to enter my username and password 6-8 times before I authenticate. Any
ideas or help - much appreciated.

Hi Jane!

Not sure if this is what's causing this behavior, but our users at work
must authenticate three times before being able to access OWA from
within our network. The reason is that they are really authenticating to
different servers each time.

Each time you enter your password, make a note of what you're
authenticating to. Between different proxies and mail servers, you may
be making several hops to get where you're going.

If you find you're going through several servers to get to your final
mail server, report this information to your network folks. Windows
users will never see this because they are automatically authenticating
to each server. Something may be misconfigured.

Hope this helps! bill
