Hi to all,

I am working with Explorer Mac 5.1.7 (latest possible version for Mac OS
9.2.2).

I am a ebay user with a PayPal Account. PayPal changed the security
Certificate from VeriSign.com. The installed Security Certificates in
Explorer Mac 5.1.7 are no longer valid. So I am unable to use my PayPal
Account due to the invalid Security Certifcates.

How can I update or renew the necessary Security Certificates from
VeriSign.com to may Explorer Mac 5.1.7. The help link from PayPal only works
with Windoews.

I didn´t find some suitable links on Microsoft, much to my regrett.

Can anyone give any assistance???

I've had a lot of problems with eBay and their utilization of code that
only works well on PC browsers, and they are constantly changing it.
You cannot use their forms for contacting them for support with Mac
Safari. Firefox works. The same programmers who do eBay also are doing
Paypal.
IE 5 for Mac is not going to be updated.
Bottom line- it's going to get increasingly tougher to get older systems
and browsers to work on today's web pages- especially if they write code
that is not compliant. Paypal and eBay are one of those.
