When I switched from PC to apple with the latest Mac, I stayed with
explorer because I knew it well. Sometimes, though, It just won't
launch. It gets through a bit of the sequence and then justs locks up
with the wheel timer symbol. Before, it corrected itself with no input
from me. This time, no. I can get to the net with safari. Is this a
virus?

bug (there's no virus or other malware for Mac OS X)

(Microsoft recommends that all Mac IE users change to something more
modern and secure)
