I am having a similar if not exactly the same problem to k2k's.  Until
several days ago, everything was fine (except that lately Yahoo has
been including sharply worded "suggestions" that "for the best
experience...we recommend using Mozilla or Firefox" or words to that
effect).

Now, I can't attach anything to an e-mail (documents or photos) and get
the exact same "Internet Explorer Script Alert" as reported by k2k
above. Also, I don't seem to be able to open attachments within Yahoo
Mail--have to download and then open them.

i've been getting exactly this too.. the only thing i cant account for
having changed is some one else was using my computer, and i think they
downloaded messenger onto my desktop (which i already have installed)
so i dumped it, possibly inadvertantly dumping something else...
when trying to access other things i've also been getting "enable
active scripting and activex controls" The active scripting in Explorer
preferences/web browser/web content, is enabled in my system, but i
don't know how to access the activex controls which are situated in
System folder/extensions/activex controls

I have started having the exact same problem in the last few days.
When ever I click on "Compose" I get a message "Unable to add event
listener for click to undefined."  Then when the page opens I get
"Unable to add event listener for keypress to INPUT."  I can't write
anything in the message section of the e-mail and I can't attach
documents.

I will also add, that I have been having problems getting any response
of any kind from Yahoo customer service.  I have been trying to upgrade
my account and do some other things and have sent them numerous
questions and have not heard a single word back.  Does anyone have a
phone number for Yahoo customer service?

One more note, I just discovered I do not have this problem using
Safari so it is obviously a MS Explorer problem.
