I have been getting this error message when trying to access one website only, wondered if anyone knew what it meant & how to resolve. Am using IE 5.2.3 & OS 10.1.5. Typically when that happens, it is because the "brilliant" designers of the website assume you are running Windows instead of checking with the browser to see which OS you are running. Not your fault. Nothing you can do except write to the site and ask them about the issue.
