Lately when I download some applications - in particular Mozilla
Firefox browser - whether from internet explorer or safari (I'm on a
mac mini, tiger) quicktime tries to automatically open the application
- to no avail.  I don't know why it is suddenly going to quick time.
It used to open fine.

Andy ideas what might be wrong.   I am also having some concurrent
microsoft entourage problems - suddenly very slow to do tasks.  Could
the spy ware thing be happening?  How can I check?
