I have Mac 9.2.2., IE 5.1.7 and Outlook Express.
Underlined links do not work within emails as they used to.
When I click a link, I am taken back to the entrance window on
my server and asked for my password and then the link still does not
work.  OR, the link simply does not work and I have to copy and paste
it.
But now, I cannot copy and paste in Outlook emails anymore.  It will
not allow me to highlight within an email.

So I have to open a window and type it in by hand.

Here is what I have done for remedy:

1.  Trashed my IE preferences
2.  Trashed my internet preferences
3.  Trahsed my finder preferences
4.  Trashed Outlook preferences.
5.  Reset extentions for Mac original set

Thanks for any help.

You say:

Increasingly the link buttons in my own ie 5.1.7 don't work. No link u
is made.  Does your 5 point remedy solve your problem?  I ask becaus
you conclude with "Thanks for any help".   When you do "5. Rese
extensions for Mac original set " do you mean that you are setting you
extensions to Mac os all, or mac os base?  Aren't you losing extension
for your other programs?  I'm no expert in all this stuff,  I'm jus
trying to get my links to work again and responding to you because yo
are the closest Google hit that relates to my problem.  I'd b
interested in anything you have to say.  Thank

Hi

2 questions other than the main Links issue.

1. How is it that Usenet Geeks is hooked into this internet explorer
newsgroup?

2. Why are the vertical rectangles appearing in my text?
