Hello :)
I have a problem...after installing 2 ttf fonts in my fonts system
folder, the fonts appearing  in IE 5 are now all bunched up together
without kerning and very small making it really hard to read. I really
appreciate any help...thanks

Sounds like you might be missing the core fonts that IE uses.
Did you install these to replace a couple of the default ones?
Also, if you are using sys 9, did you drag your new fonts to a closed
system folder (and let the system install them in the correct folder) as
opposed to putting them directly in the fonts folder?
Putting them directly in the fonts folder can cause font problems.

Thanks Kurt, I installed the fonts to use them for a logo, but I
dragged them into the fonts folder which as you said might be the
problem. I mighr have to install system 9 again to fix it?  Thanks
again!!!

Don't need to do that, just take those fonts back out of the fonts
folder and use originals to reinstall correctly.
See what happens.

I can't take the fonts out of the fonts folder, it tells me can't be
done because error type 39. The fonts I installed are
TrajanPro-Bold.otf, TRAJAN_N.TTF and  TRAJAN_R.TTF
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Sounds like it could be messy. Best thought is to start up your computer
with a disk with another system on it. (like the Norton Utilities
emergency disk).
Then you can go in and trash those fonts.
Since trajan is not a system font, you can also try starting up with
extensions off (hold down shift key) and see if it will allow you to put
them in trash then.
