Drop-down menus in Hotmail

Hello,

I'm using Internet Explorer 5.1.7 on a G3 Mac, with OS 9.1.

An unusual problem has developed with hotmail: the drop-down menus have
just stopped working.

If I want to attach a file to a hotmail message, when I click on the
"Attach" icon, instead of a drop-down menu, a little white rectangle
appears.  I get the same problem with the icon for moving a message
into a folder - instead of a list of the available folders, I just get
a white space.  I've reported this to the Hotmail help team and they
can't help.

Help please anyone?

Thanks Harri!

After a while the penny dropped and I have now installed Mozilla and am
using it.  It solved my problem, although it has a few bugs and is
slower than Explorer.

Michael.

if you get to a page that doesn't work with mozilla use iCab instead
<http://www.icab.de> (beta version even slower than mozilla :) )
