I would like to know how to make the font bigger in outgoing emails.  I was
told it's very small to read. Also, can you tell me how to add addresses to
the address book so I can send the same message to a number of people at one
time.

Thank you,

Shirley

You don't send e-mail using Internet Explorer, do you?
Which program do you use? Send e-mail as plain text, *never* as HTML!

Most mail programs have a File/Preferences drop-down where you set the font
size.

This means you are sending e-mail as HTML. Silly! Send e-mail as
plain text and there is no problem with font size.

Internet neophyte here.   Please explain why it is better to send email
as plain text.  What is the difference between HTML and plain text?

1. not all email programs show html emails

2. some of those that do are disabled becorse they don't want to load
spam pictures and launch viruses and other malware that use bugs in the
html engine

3. clown colors in email

4. adds and pictures

5. you have to be online to read html emails

True.  There's also the simple fact that plain text messages will appear in
the format that the receiver wants, which is preferable to the sender's
desired format that the receiver might find hard to read.

In some cases.

> 5. you have to be online to read html emails

That's not necessarily true.  If the code for the e-mail is stored online or
the message references images or other objects on the web, yes, online
access is necessary to download those components, but that's not generally
characteristic of non-mass-email.
