You can download IE directly from Microsoft. If the address does not
appear as a clickable link, just copy and paste it into your browser
(Safari, Mozilla?). If you have no browser, your best option would be
to go to a friends computer (or work) and then burn the file onto cd.
You can browse to the download by going to www.microsoft.com/mac and
then clicking on Internet Explorer on the left. You will see a download
link on the right side from the Explorer page.

Hey, thank you. When I try downloading it, the IE 5.2.3, it asks me to
chose what type of download, and my only option is to do an upgrade. I
got the upgrade in hopes it may work, but no. Of course it doesn't. I
can't find any previous IE on my computer except for my old environment
(9.something, don't run it anymore), and since I can't seem to download
it from anywhere, I think I am out of luck. I looked around at the
site that you sent, but only the 5.2.3 is available for download on the
OSX. Any other ideas? Right now I am using Safari for my internet.
Thanks very much for responding.

Well, that about puts me at the end of my ideas. I am on a Windows
machine right now and I cant reproduce what you are seeing with Safari.
I will tell you that from what I have read, you may do better using
Safari or Mozilla as your browser due to there being no Microsoft
support for IE Mac. I will keep looking, if I have the full file for
IE, I will send you an email and we can figure out how I might be able
to point you in the right direction. Sorry

Thanks very much. It's just very frustrating when there is a website
that i want to use that I can't use with my safari, and have to open up
my old system to use my old IE. Takes forever and freezes up my
computer sometimes. I really appreciate your help and ideas!
