i cannot send mail through yahoo when i go on thru i.e.
i can receive mail however. i have updated to the latest version of i.e
with the same results. the version i have is os x 10.1..5

i can use yahoo mail fully when i sign on through aol and go to yahoo!!

any ideas??

It is possible that Yahoo! mail is not compatible with MacIE. parts of
Hotmail are not compatible with MacIE, and they are owned by the same
company (Microsoft).

AOL is doing many "special" things for you, so that is not a valid
comparison.

You might want to try reading (and sending) your Yahoo e-mail via Firefox.
