I want to find and copy an IE 5.1.7 cookie to put in a browser
which has no conversion utility from IE, but where's the cookie file?
In Netscape Communicator I can find it.

Go to Edit: Preferences & Recieving Files: Cookies.  Select the cookie you
want to copy from the list in the IE Prefs window.  Click on the View...
button.  Copy down all the data.  The Value field can only display a limited
amount of data, so if the cookie had more data than you can see, you will
not be able to get it without quite a bit of hacking (you will need a mac
expert).

OK, once you are that far, how do you make a new cookie?  Beats me.  have
fun.  You will probably have to find the file and overwrite an existing
cookie with a file editing program (AKA a byte editor).  Without corrupting
the cookie file...

This will probably take you 10 to 100 times longer than you think it will
take you.

Hack away.
