I am constanting having page loading problems when using the eBay
website. Pages do not load completely returning two error messages:
"A network error has occurred 3171"
"the attempt to load 'accessing URL: ................. has failed"
This is almost exclusively a eBay problem.
Mac beige G3 OS9.2 Internet Explorer 5.1.7

Thanks

Emptying IE's cache may be helpful. There might be a bad page load from
a prior visit stored in the cache, and IE might be trying to access it
first in order to determine whether it needs to go online to update it
or not.

You can empty the cache from within IE's Preferences > Web Browser >
Advanced section.
