Recently I bought a new MAC, installed OS X, IE etc.
About the same time I moved to another region and had to change internet
provider.
For some strange reason I cant get a normal connection with the internet
with my new Mac.
I can visit sites typing the ip address but not by using the url.
I can ping out and the provider (cable netwerk) tells me they can see me in
the network.
I have no clue why it doesnt work...
anyone ?
regards,
Peter

Sounds like you have no access to a DNS. Check the address of your new
provider's DNS and see if it matches your settings.
