I am in OSX and ver. 5.2.3 of IE on a wireless network. About 2 weeks
ago almost every other favorite I choose or when using a google search
I am starting to recieve the "specified server cannot be found"
message and have to click twice to finally reach the url. Anyone out
there know how to resolve this?

Try resetting your IE preferences including deleting cookies, checking
security settings, and resetting defaults on security items. I had the same
"specified server cannot be found" a few weeks back. After cleaning and
resetting everything it worked fine. Same with Safari.
