Hi,
could anyone tell me if there is anyway that I can "view video" from
Linksys Wireless-G Internet Camera
(http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=33&prid=650)?
Linksys says: "Make sure to install the OCX software and that the
browser supports OCX....It is a program that is use to run the video
camera in Internet Explorer. I suggest you to contact MAC Technical
Support to verify on how to install an OCX."
I tried connecting to the IP address of the camera, I can get to the
"admin menus" but when I click to "view Video" there seem to be a
plug-in missing, here is the message that I get in both "SAFARI and
INTERNET EXPLORER":
SAFARI: JAVAScript
MPEG-4 is only available with Microsoft Internet Exolorer.
For Netscape users, please use the Linksys Viewer & Recorder Utitlity.
Microsoft Internet Explorer SRIPT ALERT:
MPEG-4 Video is only available with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
For netscape users, Please use Linksys Viewer & Recorder Utility.
Please help, otherwise I may have to send this $200.00 camera back to
the vendor...
