The GIFs on my university's site will not load in IE for OS X. (No
problems with JPEGs.) Other browsers, including IE for OS 9, load the
GIFs normally.
I am responsible for pages in our music division, such as this one:
<http://www.obu.edu/music/depts.asp> If you look at the page in a
different browser, you'll see the university's seal in the upper left
(from the template), some pdf icons, and a couple of other GIFs that
do not show up in IE. The problem occurs throughout our site
<http://www.obu.edu/>
Thanks for any help you can give!

May or may not be the cause; but when I tried to download the Seal the server
asked me if I wanted to download a "iage/gif" file instead of "image/gif".
Check to make sure your server is offering the correct MIME type for a GIF
file.
