Hi all,
Here's my situation: One of my organization's users has a fairly new Mac
(OS 10.3, I think) running IE 5.2. This is her home computer. She's on a
high speed internet line. She has never had any problems accessing her
Exchange 5.5 email via Outlook Web Access before, but now she is getting a
very strange problem.
She logs onto OWA with no problems. She can open and read emails with no
problem. But at some point, maybe after opening and closing about 5 emails,
she can no longer open emails. When she attempts to open one, the resulting
window is blank (only white), and the title bar lists a long strong of
numbers. Every email she opens shows this.
If she logs off, closes her browser, reopens it, and re-logs in, everything
is fine for about 5 emails or so, and then the problem re-occurs.
I am unaware of any changes to the back-end Exchange server or any chnages
to her system. She is our only Mac user.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Hi,
Check whether it is happening will other Pcs
If you feel that everything is working fine then you can try deleting
com.microsoft.explorer.plist file on the Mac.
you can find that file under following location
Harddisk/Users/Home folder(folder with Home icon)/Library/Preferences/
Also try removing the cookies & clearing cache for IE.
You can perform this by going to Explorer menu/Preferences
Hope this resolves your issue.

Thanks Prasanna.
I will try this. Just curious though: What ramifications will the user
experience as a result of this deletion (e.g., loss bookmarks, etc).
Thanks again,
Chris

Hi Chris,
By removing com.microsoft.explorer.plist, you will not loose any of the
Bookmarks.
All your Bookmarks will be stored under Harddisk/Users/Home folder(folder
with Home icon)/Library/Preferences/Explorer.
Instead of deleting com.microsoft.explorer.plist, try moving this file to
the desktop and relaunch the application. Once you confirm that everything
is working fine then you can delete the file which is moved to the desktop.
